How long we will keep your data for:
We will hold this information within the directory of services on the database held by Placecube (Bristol City Council’s data processor who designed the collection software) and on the Bristol open data platform.
We may contact you to ensure the information you have provided is still current and you still wish to be part of the service. You can disable your account at any time. Once your account is disabled we will keep your information for 12 months.
Why we need to collect your data:
To allow you to become a user of the service we will need to store your contact details (eg. email addresses) so that our system can make contact with you. Without this data it will not be possible to use the system.
We will also need to store the date when you contribute service information aligned to your email address. This is for us to understand how active you are.
Who we share your data with and why:
This data will not be shared with anyone outside of the directory of services; however, it will be available for anyone to use under Open Government Licence (OGL) from our open data platform.

Anyone with an account could add the details of a third party service provider but the service provider will be contacted by the data custodian before the data is published.
Your rights as a data subject:
You have the right to ask for access to your data and where data is found to be inaccurate to have that data corrected. In certain circumstances you have the right to have data held about you erased, or the use of it restricted.
You also have a right of complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk if you think we have not dealt with your information in a proper manner. You can ask to see what information we hold about you and have access to it. You can do this by contacting:

Fraud Prevention and Detection:
